Hey, my name is Rachel and I'm learning all about journalism, and this is my blog with all my work. but here's a little more about me!

I'm fourteen years old (nearly fifteen though, my birthday is July 19th) and I'm in year nine at school, and journalism is one of the electives I've chosen. This blog is where I'm going to be putting updates about topics that are important to me and topics I think need more attention.

I live in a family of four, with no pets :(, but I have a very big extended family (especially on my mum's side because she's Italian). But I really want a pet, a dog or a cat, I don't mind I would just love to have a little furry friend to cuddle with and play with.

I also dance, and I have been since I was two years old. It's my passion and is literally my life! My favourite styles are jazz and contemporary because jazz is so much fun, and with contemporary you can really just move your body to the music. Or you can tell your story or any story with contemporary.

I don't really have an idea of what I want to do when I'm older, although my dream job would to be an actor or a social influencer because I love being creative and I also am a bit of an attention seeker :)

Something that I'm really into, or am starting to get into more now, is astrology. I'm a cancer and am very true to it. But I find it so interesting and I love it!
